Duane Piper

Duane Piper joins OAS as a seasoned executive leader with more than 30years of experience in management and technology consulting, primarily within the U.S. Government contracting space. Over the course of his career, Duane has consistently demonstrated success in scaling organizations, driving strategic growth, and strengthening operational effectiveness.

 Most recently, as Chief Administrative Officer at Aeyon LLC, he helped grow the company from 70 to more than 700 employees and expanded revenue from $21M to $200M, ultimately facilitating its sale in 2024. Prior to that, he founded PiCo, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business that quickly secured significant government contracts and grew to 75 employees within 18 months.

Duane has also held senior leadership roles at Silverback7, General Dynamics, and SAIC, where he oversaw multimillion-dollar business units, major contract portfolios, and corporate operations. His early career includes service as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Air Force, where he gained foundational leadership and contracting expertise.

 Duane holds an MBA, certifications in federal contracting and program management, and has been recognized as a “Top DoD Exec to Watch” by Washington Exec in both 2023 and 2024.
