Objective Area Solutions officially started as a boutique aviation consulting company in 2016 in a townhouse garage in Falls Church, Virginia. J.J. Stakem founded the company with a belief in building a company with a fundamental focus on operations and combining organization performance with deep aviation industry expertise. His understanding of the aviation field was informed by his own experience as a former military pilot and contract pilot for the Department of State as well as his graduate studies in the field of organization development. As we have grown, the company has been able to attract industry-leading expertise and leadership to guide the company forward.
Today we have an average of 30 years of aviation experience per team member. The company has developed an excellent reputation with our clients and in the industry. In 2020 we were named the 358th fastest growing privately-owned business on the Inc. 5000 list and are the 35th fastest growing veteran-owned small business in the United States. We continue our approach of “thinking big” making early investments in our company and people to provide the best consulting services in the industry.
