Amr is an independent consultant, corporate director, and advisor who currently chairs the Board of Directors at Draper and serves as a strategic advisor to BTI-360, partnering with private equity firms to assess potential portfolio companies. A recognized aviation expert with deep domestic and international experience, he has led efforts to modernize global aviation systems and integrate emerging aerospace technologies, while driving digital transformation across complex public-sector missions spanning civil, defense, intelligence, law enforcement, and homeland security. He previously served as President & CEO and Board Member of Noblis (2007–2022), guiding major growth and transformation—including six M&A transactions—and earning multiple workplace and ethics recognitions, alongside leadership honors such as Washingtonian’s Tech Titan and multiple Wash100 awards. Earlier, he was a Senior Vice President at MITRE and spent seven years as Director of the FAA’s Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC), and he holds an MBA from Georgetown plus engineering degrees from George Washington University and West Virginia University.
