Summary:
This role provides specific support to aviation programs
across a range of program management support, communication, and process
improvement functions. Candidates for this
role would have 5 -7 years of progressive professional experience in one or
more aviation fields, supporting program management organizations, and team
development/leadership development consulting experience.
A candidate for this role would be expected to continue to
professionally grow to take on increasingly complex tasks and roles with the
client and within the company.
Position Functions
& Skills:
Supporting the FAA and other agency aviation programs under
the direction of the Vice President of Operations, the Aviation Program Analyst
will be responsible for the following specific functions:

Performing consulting engagement support
functions to include meeting facilitation, task and stakeholder engagement management,
project scheduling, and other project plan tasks as needed

Conducting research related to FAA and other
government agency aviation stakeholders

Providing comment on working papers, including
those which are technical in nature
-
Participating in discussions with other
government/non-government agencies; documenting discussions, tracking items of
interest, maintaining schedules on relevant work, etc.

Providing input to and develop support for
organizational, leadership, and team development events, offsites, and
activities
- Experience analyzing and resolving complex
problems in the field of aviation

Strong organizational skills and excellent people
skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Experience with MS Project

Experience with MS SharePoint
Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in organization development,
engineering/aviation, or management discipline
Preferred Skills
& Capabilities:

Active US Government security clearance

Project Management Professional (PMI PMP) Certification

SharePoint Certifications
-
Certifications in individual and/or team
assessment instruments (e.g. Myers Briggs, CPI360, StrengthsFinder, Leadership
Circle)

FAA and DoD consulting experience

Master’s Degree in organization development,
engineering/aviation, or management discipline
